DetailsUIM includes a Gnome applet. However, it's inaccessible from the Gnome applet menu. The reason (I think!) is that this file:
UIM version 1.2.1-1 usr/lib/bonobo/servers/GNOME_UimApplet.server should be in the /opt/gnome tree instead of /usr A quick fix is to link from /opt/gnome/lib/bonobo/servers to the above file, in which case the applet appears in the menu. Perhaps a configure option? Phil |
