Description:
I run Arch on a Linode VM (they use KVM). My system uptime stopped resetting to zero on reboot. uptime now reports ~152 days and counting in spite of having just rebooted.

Additional info:
uname -a : Linux --- 4.19.9-arch1-1-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Dec 14 00:58:26 UTC 2018 x86_64 GNU/Linux
last reboot : reboot system boot 4.19.9-arch1-1-A Tue Dec 18 12:40 still running
uptime : 12:57:06 up 152 days, 18:55, 1 user, load average: 0.09, 0.15, 0.10

Steps to reproduce:
I have no idea... I'm given the impression by documentation that uptime sources this timestamp from the /proc kernel interface into kernel counters which should reset on every reboot. I run a xen server at home with VMs of the same basic configuration which does not have this issue.
This task depends upon

Unclear what you expect Arch to do about this. This is on Linode to fix.
