Description:
Gimp keeps crashing, approx. every five minutes, for seemingly no reason at all.

Gimp 2.10.8

Steps to reproduce:
I have no idea how to reproduce this bug, it seems to happen completely randomly.

Please provide additonal information. In this case a stacktrace would be very helpful. Else we have no way in finding and fixing the issue.
