Description:
syslinux.efi (efi64 version) doesn't work.
When launched from firmware, UEFI shell or from another EFI application, syslinux.efi doesn't run, it just hangs. The system is not entirely frozen since it reacts to Ctrl+Alt+Del.

I tested it on one real hardware and in one VirtualBox VM.

syslinux 6.03-11 works fine.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.
syslinux 6.04.alpha-1

Steps to reproduce:
Install syslinux (efi64) to ESP and launch syslinux.efi.

Is it still an issue with 6.04alpha version of syslinux in [testing]? If yes then I'll try to pull the debian patch to see if it fixes the issue.

This is only an issue with syslinux 6.04.alpha-1 from [testing], syslinux 6.03-11 from [core] works.

6.04.alpha-2 with the patch from Debian is pushed to [testing]. Please verify the package functionality.
