Description:
Kodi only uses lsb_release if it can't get the information from /etc/os-release. The current description for the dependency "log distro information in crashlog" is wrong. /usr/bin/kodi will not use `lsb_release` for crashlog if /etc/os-release exists. The only place where lsb_release is used is in the "System info" window for the OS version. That's because /etc/os-release doesn't have VERSION_ID, so the value from `lsb_release -r` is used instead. With lsb-release installed the version is "rolling", without lsb-release it is "0.0". Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. kodi 17.6-8 lsb-release 1.4-15 Steps to reproduce: |
