Details

This application is requesting API key upon searching for youtube videos. The options are to input a key OR to download the developer's version (assuming this comes with the API key, but untested).

Should an application that denies all user requests without signing in, be welcome into the sanitized repositories? This appears to be a google advertisement to me. Please remove.

This is up to the packager to decide whether we should keep it or not. Steam isn't useful without signing in either.

@freq-: To have the application in the repos is perfectly fine. Whether it is a nice move by Google to require an API key for everything is yet another question.
You don't have to install the application, if you don't want to use it. There's no advertisement in that application warranting your statement (yet, Google's *services are not free*, as you have advertisements there and to them you yourself are usually *the goods*).
