The pacman's mirror list is outdated.. There are new and fast mirrors working and listed http://www.archlinux.org/download/ that should be included on the list.

I'm sure this is known issue. :)

I have sent Judd Vinet an updated list months ago. He told me that this list will be included in the next pacman release. ;)

Urs, there was updated list posted to pacman-dev ML few days ago, can you please check that message in ML archive - to see if no mirrors are missing, and report back here?
