DetailsDescription:
package octave version 4.4.1-3 tries to load old shared library libgfortran.so.4 on startup. gcc-libs version 8.2.1+20180831-1 however provides libgfortran.so.5. My guess is that rebuilding the package should fix this. Additional info: * octave 4.4.1-3 * gcc-libs 8.2.1+20180831-1 octave output: /usr/lib/octave/4.4.1/exec/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/octave-gui: error while loading shared libraries: libgfortran.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Steps to reproduce: * Install packages octave and gcc with the provided versions. * Run octave from terminal |
