Laggy scrolling in multiple applications when there are Thai language characters in the window on xfwm.

Happens in Thunar, Rythmbox, not sure bu both might use GTK?!

Does not happen in Firefox browser.

Additional info:

Rhythmbox 3.4.2+4+ge123ad533-2
Firefox 63.0.1-1

Steps to reproduce:

Simply having large numbers of files with names that contain Thai characters in a folder and scrolling over these with Thunar.

Alternatively having songs with Thai characters in their Title or ar any other field in Rhythmbox and scroll over them.
