flup got apparently (semi-?)forked into a Python3-only version 1.0.3, which prevents it from working in any way under python2. I contacted the author to make it clear whether they intend to continue to support python2, but while waiting for an answer, downgrading to 1.0.2-5 fixes it.

Additional info:
* package version(s)

* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
- Use any of the flup features.
- See a traceback due to python3isms.

Given the time until python2’s EOL, maybe an easier task would be to flat out remove the python2 version of this package. Since it’s obviously not maintained upstream anymore.
