wxgtk 2.8.0 fixes an important bug in amule where it crashes when download tabs are closed/cleared, and amule should be recompiled against it. A small patch from amule's homepage is required.

for wxgtk, it might help to compile it with the --enable-optimise flag.

for amule, it might help to compile it with the --disable-debug --enable-optimize flags.

Please do not report bugs about package update needed.

Actually, Roman, it's just a wxGTK bug, it's explained at aMule forums it's NOT an aMule bug. Also, aMule team will drop support to earlier versions before 2.8.x of wxGTK soon! Although it's a wxGTK bug, an aMule recompile against it is needed, so... :)

I think it's be cool to add these into unstable for sometime, since it open ports and stuff like that, just for security reasons (as new bugs may have appeared, lol)

I made some packages, check them in AUR, i also made compiled pkg.tar.gz

wxGTK2.8 (can live with another wxGTK26 installation (some apps will not compile with 2.8))
