Description:
The commit 71f750667d393219baef5c70bc18733a8e1286e8 has removed the inclusion of the retroarch-config.patch to edit /etc/retroarch.cfg with sane defaults. This means that user needs to specify several paths to make RetroArch works out of the box. This includes: - libretro_directory to /usr/lib/libretro - libretro_info_path to /usr/share/libretro/info And the video/audio filters. This can be annoying and confusing for users who discover retroarch where the concepts of cores, info and even database are already hard to assimilate at first. Please re-enable those sane default values by default. Additional info: 1.7.5 (since commit 71f750667d393219baef5c70bc18733a8e1286e8) Steps to reproduce: 1. pacman -S retroarch 2. run retroarch, download database 3. retroarch is unable to scan directories and find system wide cores by default |
