It would be convenient if the Python 3 bindings could be included.
Configure option: --with-python-binary=python3

Reason for closing:  Implemented
Additional comments about closing:  switched python2 to python3. Not keeping the python2 bindings as nothing in repos needs them. Python2 is EOL next year.
