Description:
A Kernel Panic occurs on shutdown / reboot since the 4.18.16 after using qemu during the session. The computer shuts down fine if no virtual machine has been launched. Steps to reproduce: - Normal boot - Login - Use KVM / qemu - Execute poweroff or reboot Additional info: * linux 4.18.16 * qemu 3.0.0-3 The issue is very similar to this one: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/56707 Downgrading to linux 4.18.14 fixes the issue. |

Thanks for your answer. I would rather not switch to testing to install linux 4.19.x, so I'll wait for it to be available on core.
Do you know if there is a roadmap soemwhere regarding kernel updates on the core repo ?
If you're not using any out of tree modules, you can just download and install the kernel package alone.
Upgrade to 4.19.1 fixes the issue. Thanks for the input !
