DetailsBotan 2.8.0 [1] added support for using the GNU/Linux getrandom syscall to access the system PRNG and to make use of this feature we should pass along a new configure option "--with-os-feature=getrandom" to enable it.
The commit message [2] mentioned that it requires a recent enough kernel and glibc. Both requirements, of course, Arch already fulfills in flying colors. The man-page [3] lists that getrandom() was introduced in the GNU/Linux kernel version 3.17 and glibc in version 2.25.
