Recently the quassel packages were upgraded to 0.13rc2, which is a development release into the main repos.
https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/quassel/

This version is bound to have bugs, I actually was forced to downgrade from /var/cache/pacman/pkg in order to get Quassel to work again.

Because of it being a devel release, my core which is on a CentOS machine is using the official release and I cannot upgrade without building from source.

It should be considered to downgrade to the official release of 0.12.5 until 0.13 is releases.
