DetailsDescription:
JetBrains provides the gradle-intellij-plugin to build IntelliJ plugins through gradle: https://github.com/JetBrains/gradle-intellij-plugin This gradle plugin offers the option to use a local IntelliJ installation (instead of downloading a packaged version). During the build process, the gradle plugin is dependent on the "build.txt" located in the root directory of the used IntelliJ installation. This file is missing for the IntelliJ package, leading to a build failure caused by a FileNotFoundException for "/usr/share/idea/build.txt" (see attached stacktrace). A chat on gitter (https://gitter.im/JetBrains/gradle-intellij-plugin) with the maintainers of the plugin confirmed that the "build.txt" is needed and that there is no local workaround for the issue (except manually creating a "build.txt"). Additional info: * package version 2:2018.2.5-1 * gradle version 4.10.2-1 * gradle-intellij-plugin version 0.3.12 Steps to reproduce: Build an IntelliJ plugin project using the gradle-intellij-plugin through gradle. (The local setup when trying to import the project into IntelliJ fails as well with the same error.) |
