DetailsWhen I exit X, it sometimes (usually after it's been running for a while, i.e. a couple of hours) crashes with this message:

What drivers are you using?

xf86-video-via. Also happens with xf86-video-unichrome and openchrome; appeared afterh the most recent xorg-server update. I'll see if it happens with vesa I guess.

Check with the latest xorg-server and drivers released yesterday.

Does logfile says something interesting?

Yes, the error I posted was from the end of the logfile.

Well, the vesa driver doesn't seem to cause this crash. Then again, I wasn't able to leave it on very long.

Hmm. After a reinstall, xf86-video-via has progressed to causing lockups every time on exit. Openchrome still crashes it on exit, but at least doesn't lock up.

Crash is still there with latest server. To the best of my knowledge, there haven't been any driver updates since my last post.

This should be fixed in xorg-server 1.2 in testing: it's caused by using software GL for AIGLX. The server doesn't track the software rendering contexts that are initialized and frees them on exit, which will cause a crash like this when the assumption is wrong.

You sure about that? It happens for me with AIGLX disabled...

Nope, no more crashes in 1.2, appears to be fixed.
