There is a typo in the PKGBUILD: If you intend to set MM to " " for make, you need to provide it as an argument, e.g. 'make MM=" "' not 'MM=" " make' The current PKGBUILD fails on other architectures (e.g. i686), with the proposed change, the package compiles.
