Description: The latest version (1.5.4-1) of pkgconf has
been added to the community repository. However, the
previous version (1.5.3-1) is still in the core repository.
With core placed above community in /etc/pacman.conf, this
prevents to new version being installed by pacman -Syu.
Also, comparing the web pages for the packages: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/pkgconf/ https://www.archlinux.org/packages/core/x86_64/pkgconf/ the new version is no longer in the base-devel group, and the dependencies list is missing. Additional info: * package version(s) pkgconf 1.5.3-1 in core pkgconf 1.5.4-1 in community Steps to reproduce: Update system with # pacman -Syu then $ pacman -Ss '\<pkgconf\>' core/pkgconf 1.5.3-1 (base-devel) [installed] Package compiler and linker metadata toolkit community/pkgconf 1.5.4-1 [installed: 1.5.3-1] Light pkg-config replacement |
