xorg-xfs is a daemon and needs a rc.d script to properly
startup/shutdown
I am using this one, it also supports reloading its configuration |

Just for information: what pros/cons of using XFS?

I'm using it to supply fonts to Xming (X server for Windows) so I
don't have to maintain fonts in two places.
