Description:

Left clicking on Plasma applets in the system tray (eg Network Manager or Telepathy) doesn't always cause the appropriate menu to appear.

plasma-workspace 5.14.1-1

Steps to reproduce:

Add the plasma5-applets-redshift-control widget to your system tray, configure its settings a bit, and then you should be unable to click on icons and have the appropriate menu come up. Not always reproducible. Steam can also cause it sometimes.

Removing the system tray from the panel and re-adding it provides a temporary fix.

Yes, I can see how that will cause a "System crash, severe boot failure that is likely to affect more than just you, or an exploitable security issue in either a core or outward-facing service package"...

This is not a debate. Don't try to overinflate the severity of a bug, since we will change it downwards anyway and all it does is give us more work and make us grumpy.
