Description:

rapid-photo-download complains about python-pip not installed. imho should be a optdepends or even a depends. Not sure about the last one.

Additional info:

"pacman -Syu python-pip" fixes this.

The newversion.py check attempts to see if there's a new version available, but it does so by executing pip and checking the output. It correctly aborts false when pip does not exist, but it doesn't squelch stderr in the process.

It's a very minor UI bug that should be pushed upstream.
