Description:

I have tried to follow the steps given at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Netboot and https://www.archlinux.org/releng/netboot/

wget https://www.archlinux.org/static/netboot/ipxe.28ebfe8a66ac.lkrn
qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -m 1G -kernel ipxe.*.lkrn

Result: it doesn't boot, says:

https://www.archlinux.org/releng/netboot/archlinux.ipxe.... Permission denied (http://ipxe.org/022fe23c)

Additional info:

This error is explained as "Certificate ID mismatch", but e.g. Chrome and Firefox accept it, and "openssl s_client -connect www.archlinux.org:443" says "Verification: OK".

I have not tried to rebuild iPXE with debug information yet.

Rebuilt the ipxe-netboot package from AUR, still the same error. Pcap file (obtained by using a bridge interface instead of slirp networking) attached.
