Detailsin install file of kernel packages, one can see a line like that
/sbin/mkinitcpio -p kernel26suspend2 -m "ATTENTION:\nIf you get a kernel panic below and are using an Intel chipset, append 'earlymodules=piix' to the kernel commandline" please fix it and remove the \n /sbin/mkinitcpio -p kernel26suspend2 -m "ATTENTION: If you get a kernel panic below and are using an Intel chipset, append 'earlymodules=piix' to the kernel commandline" it is even more uggly when you see that you installed a kernel package |

well this message is for booting the kernel not for the upgrade itself, the \n is needed to get the line break on boot
