Detailslibgnome-keyring is deprecated in favor of libsecret since 2014.[1] git supports both libraries, so the gnome-keyring credential helper can be disabled now, the libsecret credential helper provides the same functionality. See the attached diff for the current PKGBUILD.

I added another optional dependency for libsecret (and a comment about gnome-keyring deprecation), but we will keep the helper as long as it does not bring any extra cost.
