Description:
The cursor becomes invisible in wayland when the window loses focus. It cannot be brought back without restarting the terminal server.
The bug is fixed in upstream.

As well, the linked debian bug reports text corruption in evolution when writing an email, but I have not encountered this bug.

This is my first bug report, apologies in advance for any mistakes.

Steps to reproduce:
Open gnome-terminal in wayland and cause it to lose focus. The cursor will disappear and not reappear
