DetailsDescription:
Cloning into 'glib'... done. Checking out files: 100% (1905/1905), done. fatal: reference is not a tree: f0b57dd7a80425264e318f85c331a039a3cddd87 Why not just use the source tarball http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/glib/2.58/glib-2.58.0.tar.xz ? I understand that git repos are the only way to go, if a software is no longer properly maintained and just a git repo exists or if the upstream author decided not to produce any tarballs for download anymore, but here.. git is a version control system for development, not a software distribution platform (personal oppinion). The immediate problem here is in fact that we built using https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/commit/f0b57dd7a80425264e318f85c331a039a3cddd87 whereas upstream apparently decided to move the tag to https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/commit/c138b98e363df8b95c2ee3eac214649b2908ad68 instead.
