linux 4.18.5 crashed on my Acer Aspire E 15 suddenly one day as well. I was listening to music using cmus and suddenly the sound keep repeating at a note and the system do not responded. I think there is something wrong with linux 4.18.5 but I have not upgraded to linux 4.18.6 instead I downgraded to linux 4.17.12 (no issue so far).

Is this still an issue?
