Description:
After upgrading from amarok 2.9.0-2 -> 2.9.0.git20180816-1, settings are lost. As per this bug comment [a], users can copy ~/.kde4/share/apps/amarok to ~/.local/share/amarok, and ~/.kde4/share/config/amarokrc to ~/.config/amarokrc. This restores playlists and preferences. However, song statistics are still not transferred. Additional info: * 2.9.0-2 -> 2.9.0.git20180816-1 Steps to reproduce: * Update from amarok 2.9.0-2 -> 2.9.0.git20180816-1 * Copy old settings * Observe empty song statistics I posted on the KDE forum [b], and was informed that this current version of Amarok in Arch (2.9.0.git20180816) was pre-alpha, and not ready for release. Serious bugs would be expected, and they suggested that Arch shouldn't have published this version.
