Description:
NM GUI in Gnome doesn't let to import OpenVPN settings because the Add button is inactive However, nmcli connection import type openvpn file ./filename.ovpn works. Additional info: * package version(s) local/libnm 1.12.3dev+1+g0a3755c17-1 NetworkManager client library local/libnm-glib 1.12.3dev+1+g0a3755c17-1 NetworkManager client library (legacy) local/networkmanager 1.12.3dev+1+g0a3755c17-1 (gnome) Network connection manager and user applications local/networkmanager-openvpn 1.8.4-1 NetworkManager VPN plugin for OpenVPN local/networkmanager-vpnc 1.2.6-1 NetworkManager VPN plugin for VPNC local/nm-connection-editor 1.8.16-1 NetworkManager GUI connection editor and widgets * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: 1. Download .ovpn from VPN gate 2. Open Gnome Settings -> Networks -> + -> Import from file 3. Select the downloaded file 4. Add button is inactive |

ran into this, for me it was related to CA private key being none.
which isn't actually required. I set it to a random file and it
allowed me to add.
I cannot reproduce the issue. Is it still valid for you?
