Today when i updated my system he asked me if i wanted to replace cdrtools with cdrkit, and i said yes.
The problem is that mkisofs now fails creating video dvds.
A friend of mine with FC also had the same problem, so ill say that this is a mkisofs bug.
To repoduce it, just copy a dvd to your hard disk, ie: dvdbackup -i /dev/hdc -o . -M, and then on k3b try to create a VIDEO DVD project, and add the VIDEO_TS content of your dvd to it.

Heres the output he gives:

mkisofs
-----------------------
genisoimage: Warning: -follow-links does not always work correctly; be careful.
Warning: Disabling Joliet support for DVD-Video.
I: -input-charset not specified, using utf-8 (detected in locale settings)
genisoimage: Implementation botch. Video pad for file VTS_01_0.IFO is -4
genisoimage: Either the *.IFO file is bad or you found a genisoimage bug.

mkisofs command:
-----------------------
/usr/bin/mkisofs -gui -graft-points -volid Anjos -volset -appid K3B THE CD KREATOR (C) 1998-2005 SEBASTIAN TRUEG AND THE K3B TEAM -publisher -preparer -sysid LINUX -volset-size 1 -volset-seqno 1 -sort /tmp/kde-bud/k3berFq8a.tmp -rational-rock -hide-list /tmp/kde-bud/k3bDPbJbb.tmp -joliet -hide-joliet-list /tmp/kde-bud/k3bjF4zoc.tmp -full-iso9660-filenames -iso-level 2 -path-list /tmp/kde-bud/k3bgyV4ub.tmp -dvd-video -f /tmp/kde-bud/k3bVideoDvd0

is this fixed in cdrkit 1.1.1?

I have had similar problems in K3B after the upgrade to cdrkit. These problems existed in cdrkit 1.1.1 as well.

The new cdrkit which replaces the old cdrecord package creates symbolic links /usr/bin/mkisofs to /usr/bin/genisoimage, and /usr/bin/cdrecord to /usr/bin/wodim
For reasons unknown k3b doesn't like these symbolic links.

To work around this bug I did:

rm /usr/bin/mkisofs /usr/bin/cdrecord
cp /usr/bin/genisoimage /usr/bin/mkisofs
cp /usr/bin/wodim /usr/bin/cdrecord

And everything started working flawlessly.
