DetailsIIUC since argtable 2.13-2 from AUR was split to argtable and argtable-docs, smoothly updating should be possible by adding argtable-docs to the "replaces" array.
The package moved to community, argtable 2.13-3 contains the doc files, so conflicting files don't allow trouble-free updating. |

Anyway not sure why this documentation is needed in the first place, especially in so many formats including multiple PDFs of the manpage itself.
This bloats the package from 250KB to 4.5MB
$ namcap /var/cache/pacman/pkg/argtable-2.13-3-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz
argtable W: Package was 99% docs by size; maybe you should split out a docs package
==> or just drop it entirely. Problem solved.
However, I fixed that and removed the pdf/ps files.
