DetailsDescription: ddclient 3.8.2 cannot send e-mails
Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: See line #1579 - there is a command: pipecmd("sendmail -oi $recipients", "To: $recipients", "Subject: status report from $program\@$hostname", "\r\n", $msgs, "", "regards,", " $program\@$hostname (version $version)" It uses sendmail to send mails - not installed in basic Arch Linux. After modifying to: pipecmd("mail -s \"status report from $program\@$hostname\" $recipients", $msgs, "", "regards,", " $program\@$hostname (version $version)" Everything works again. Same problem will be in version 3.9.0 |
