Details
rhythmbox says it is unable to play MP3 files, googling
suggests that the problem might be gstreamer0.10-ugly needs
to be upgraded to version 0.10.4-3 (?)
I do not know if this is the problem, but please have a look at: http://bugzilla.livna.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1233 |

Sorry, can't reproduce this, not with totem, not with rhythmbox (I
used the OpenBSD 4.0 MP3 song for testing). Our gstreamer 0.10
packages are split per codec, be sure to install gstreamer0.10-mad
to be able to play MP3.

Quite right you are, googling suggested gstreamer0.10-ugly was
needed for mp3's but gstreamer0.10-mad fixed it. Thanks.
