DetailsDescription:
Some recent Killer Wireless cards are not supported in Kernel, however they are hardware identical to existing supported Intel cards. This iwlwifi backports patch should be applied to linux kernel package until integrated upstream: https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/iwlwifi/backport-iwlwifi.git/commit/?id=a3ef483ec5002b7af5a2ad04cb7a77366cd23b9f It's benign and just adds the PCI VID's/PID's for these particular cards which were widely introduced into generally available laptops at end of May. Patch confirmed working for kernels 4.17 onwards at least. This patch fully addresses BUG#59202 |
