Description:

subversion depends=(systemd), for no reason other than that it includes a systemd .service file (in fact, the only mention of systemd in the source tarball is a comment about parsing /etc/os-release). That's usually not a reason to depend on systemd; if it were, many many more packages would have to depend on systemd; openssh, lvm2, dhcpcd, ...

This is change useful to Parabola, and for users of AUR openrc.

Additional info:
* package version(s): subversion 1.10.0-3
This task depends upon

  • Field changed: Task Type (General Gripe → Bug Report)
  • Field changed: Details
  • Field changed: Status (Unconfirmed → Assigned)
  • Field changed: Severity (Very Low → Low)
This was initially added for  FS#35468 , and the dependency should have been removed in 1.9.5-3 when we dropped the install script that executed systemd-tmpfiles.
