Please include this upstream patch in the PKGBUILD:

efi_no_kbd.patch::http://repo.or.cz/syslinux.git/patch/73bb3701a19a9eeb30b6f77ff7612ca2a9cd3f38

Without it, my PC will not boot in UEFI mode unless there is a keyboard plugged into it. It is listed in the changelog for 6.04-pre1: https://www.syslinux.org/wiki/index.php?title=Syslinux_6_Changelog

syslinux-6.03-11 with this patch is moved to [testing]. Please check that it works as expected.

Confirmed. UEFI boot no longer hangs when no keyboard is attached.
