Description:

mupdf-gl supports copying a region of text from a document to the clipboard by selecting it with the right mouse button. However, this feature seems to be broken with this package. Note that the feature works fine with the regular mupdf package.

I was able to find a solution to this issue here (see the second message): https://ghostscript.com/mupdfirclogs/2018/05/21.html

The issue is that the mupdf-gl package is using the freeglut library provided by the system instead of the enhanced version of freeglut bundled with the mupdf-gl source. I was able to fix the issue locally by editing the PKGBUILD for mupdf-gl accordingly.

Additional info:

* package version: mupdf-gl 1.13.0-1

Steps to reproduce:

With a document open in mupdf-gl, right click and drag to select a region of text. Try pasting the selected text somewhere.

Reason for closing:  Won't fix
Additional comments about closing:  We don't patch packages to use a bundled library. Improvements should go into freeglut so everyone can benefit.
