Detailslibsoup in current archlinux depends on openssl, but when compiling the package, it takes gnutls which is installed on my system. It breaks on gnutls because gnutls has changed something which causes libsoup to break.
Why is this an issue? As I'm maintaining gnome 2.5 and evolution 1.5 that comes a bit later than the gnome release, I know libsoup won't support openssl anymore in the next version, so we have to use gnutls. At http://schoolbak.dyndns.org/arch-bugs/libsoup you can find a new PKGBUILD, a patch and the compiled package against GNOME 2.6RC. |
