Description:
If QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland(-egl) is exported, Texstudio becomes unusable: the title bar disappears, the window becomes invisible, it cannot be clicked etc. Additional info: * package version(s) texstudio 2.12.10-2 qt5-wayland-5.11.1-1 Gnome 3.28 * config and/or log files etc. $ cat /etc/environment # # This file is parsed by pam_env module # # Syntax: simple "KEY=VAL" pairs on separate lines # QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland Steps to reproduce: Install Qt5 Wayland, Texstudio, export QT_QPA_PLATFORM=wayland, run Texstudio |

It works in Ubuntu 18, but there Qt is 5.9.

Doesn't Gnome's Mutter support Wayland if I log in to Gnome on
Wayland?

Well, for some other reasons I've reinstalled the system, and now
TS actually launches with Wayland and works, but looks ugly as
hell. The problem is I have no idea what exactly had changed.
Maybe, someone will encounter the same bug.

Alright, I'm closing this bug for now. Reopen if you have some
precise info that points to a packaging problem.
