Description:

vim is not compiled with the +clipboard feature, therefore it can't interact with the X selection and clipboard like described at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Vim#Clipboard

Would it be reasonable to toggle --with-x to "yes" for vim as well while keeping gui disabled?

Additional info:
* package version: 8.1.0022-1

Steps to reproduce:
Try yanking into the * or + registers (`"*Y` or `"+Y`) or `:echo has('clipboard')`

If the dependencies are undesirable for vim, I'll at least update the wiki to make it clear that gvim has to be installed for this feature to work.

The wiki clearly says:

The vim package is built without Xorg support; specifically the +clipboard feature is missing, so Vim will not be able to operate with the primary and clipboard selection buffers. The gvim package provides also the CLI version of Vim with the +clipboard feature.
