Display refresh frequency list is broken. In Gnome and Xfce dialog for setting display frequency shows:

Default
1024x768@53
1024x768@54
...
1024x768@57
800x600@51
800x600@64
etc.

I have this on two machines with different Xorg.conf. On one machine frequency was set with nvidia-settings (ModeLines generated). The real frequency is OK, only the list is wrong.

I don't remember after which update this happened but think that this is a bug in the latest nvidia driver since I saw this on second machine after month period - only after I updated to Xfce 4.4 RC2 and latest Nvidia driver from Testing.
Can someone please confirm this?

EDIT: I've just seen new nvidia in Testing, so I must clarify that this bug is with 9629, I haven't tried 9631 yet.

From the nvidia README:

Option "DynamicTwinView" "boolean"

Enable or disable support for dynamically configuring TwinView on this X
screen. When DynamicTwinView is enabled (the default), the refresh rate of
a mode (reported through XF86VidMode or XRandR) does not correctly report
the refresh rate, but instead is a unique number such that each MetaMode
has a different value. This is to guarantee that MetaModes can be uniquely
identified by XRandR.

When DynamicTwinView is disabled, the refresh rate reported through XRandR
will be accurate, but NV-CONTROL clients such as nvidia-settings will not
be able to dynamically manipulate the X screen's MetaModes. TwinView can
still be configured from the X config file when DynamicTwinView is
disabled.

Default: DynamicTwinView is enabled.
