Why they decided to "de-publish" the 1.22 version puzzles me a little bit.

debian pool is only for storing all current "suites", 1.22 is simply not referenced by any variant anymore.
snapshot.debian.org is the place that keeps stuff.

hm well, AFAIK there is no unified interface, you just get a link to a snapshot based on a timestamp of the pool. this will stay there, but there in no generic variant without that unifies them all.

Its "official home" is https://salsa.debian.org/clint/fakeroot but they don't tag releases, instead preferring to exclusively publish the project on the debian pool. Maybe ask them to stop being silly?
