Detailsntfs-3g needs fuse API version 7.8 to work correctly. But pacman installs API version 7.7. So you get "fusermount: mount failed: No such device" error everytime you try.. (I faced this problem and I did a research on google so http://www.ntfs-3g.org/support.html#fuse26 might be the appropriate solution)

We patched our 2.6.19 kernel packages with the new fuse API, install one of the new 2.6.19 kernel26, kernel26suspend2, kernel26mm or kernel26beyond packages (kernel26ck soon to follow).
I don't have time to make the patch for 2.6.18, so if you need it for 2.6.18, follow the FAQ and install the fuse module from the fuse source package.
BTW, I hate ntfs-3g guys for making it incompatible to latest Linux mainline kernels.
