Description:
I run Arch Linux as a VirtualBox guest. After log in und starting some applications it becomes impossible to click inside applications. An applications that is hit by this bug is Atom.

I testet it with LXQt and Xfce, with compositing enabled and disabled, with Compton and with and without the prebuild VirtualBox guest modules from the official Arch repositories but nothing seems to help and the logs doesn't contain any error messages.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
linux 4.17.2-1
xorg-server 1.20.0-9
virtualbox-guest-modules-arch 5.2.12-10
atom 1.27.2-2

Host OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1709, build 16299.492
VirtualBox version: Version 5.2.12 r122591 (Qt5.6.2)

* config and/or log files etc.
Nothing that would help.

Steps to reproduce:
Install and run Arch Linux with X.Org, SDDM, LXQt and Atom inside a VirtualBox VM. It takes only a few seconds to verify this odd behaviour.
