Description:
When trying to use steam the in-home streaming client on my Arch Linux system after a recent pacman -Syu, it crashes in the vdpau_drv_video.so module. This is on Nvidia with the proprietary 340xx driver. A rebuild of both lib32-libva and lib32-libva-vdpau-driver solved the issue. Both might not be required but I had to rebuild lib32-libva to get the correct header files as I did not build in a chroot. Additional info: * package version(s): lib32-libva 1.8.3-1 lib32-libva-vdpau-driver 0.7.4-6 Steps to reproduce: Try to start streaming with the steam client from another computer with hardware decoding enabled. |

If you didn't build in a clean chroot, your rebuilds tell us
nothing. What's the actual crash?
