The small package deepin-terminal (few MB) lists
deepin-manual (~160 MB) as a strong dependency which is
therefore
downloaded and updated just as the package itself is. Force-removing deepin-manual shows no problems in running/using deepin-terminal - Therefore I would ask if it was possible to set deepin-manual as an "recommended/optional" dependency, but not as a required one. I usually don't care too much since packages marked as dependencies are usually small in size and are marked as dependencies due to some reason I might not know. But here the manual really seems to "only be the manual" and it is a big package. Or do I miss something? Thanks in advance! |
