Detailsncmpc version 0.30-1 does not display the progress bar (time in song) correctly, but displays a black line instead. Both version 0.29-2 and ncmpc-git (from aur) show the bar correctly. The bug seems to be terminal-independent, since it can be reproduced in various terminal emulators (i tested xterm and urxvt) and on the tty.

Then we need to know how to fix the problem. Can you see if rebuilding the package does anything? Cheers.
Rebuilding the package doesn't help.
