DetailsDescription:
I believe I'm running into an issue where libmariadbclient is required by some packages, and I have installed percona-server for my mysql server. However, libperconaserverclient doesn't provide libmariadbclient, so the packages needing libmariadbclient still want it installed. I believe this is causing a segfault when running mysql_upgrade, probably because mysql_upgrade is calling the mariadb library, which is a different version. If libperconaserverclient could provide (in the PKGBUILD as well as any simlinks needed) libmariadbclient, that would be great. Additional info: * package version(s) 5.7.22_22-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install percona-server, as well as percona-server-clients. 2. Install a package such as postfix, which depends on libmariadbclient. 3. Run mysql_upgrade (or possibly other commands). |

"provides" is for drop in replacements. Since the lib is totally different, that's not possible.
